Michael and Clare O’Dowd founded O’Dowd Christie Hair, bringing together extensive international expertise to deliver innovative and creative hairdressing. For the past 4 years they have been recognised as finalists for W.A/NT Hairdresser of the Year for the AHFA’s/Hair Expo, taking home two first place awards in 2015 and 2016.

Michael is one of two managers along with his partner Clare. They have worked along side each other at different stages over 13 years. In his 17 years hairdressing he has worked with some of the top names with in the industry through out Europe and Australia. Specializing in cutting, Michael has provided seminars for the top product companies and has worked on several international hair shows at the top level. Constantly working on new photo shoots Michael and Clare are always striving to bring you the latest looks to the salon.
With 16 years in hairdressing, Clare has spent most of her career in london working with international brands.Over 13 years her path has crossed with her partner Michael many times to end up working along side each other. With vast experience with london and perth fashion week her partner Michael always says ‘In seventeen years I’ve never met some one who can blow dry like her!!! Clare spends a lot of time directing the hair for shows and is a natural at styling long hair.
